File Gateway
Files downloaded from the internet can be safely viewed or edited directly on the isolation computer — regardless of whether they contain malicious code or not. They remain exclusively on the isolation computer. In most cases, viewing or editing the files on the isolation computer is entirely sufficient — and, above all, safe.
Using the File Gateway, users can exchange files between their devices and the isolation computer. This function can be restricted by the administrator on a per-user basis — for example, limiting it to specific file types or allowing only uploads or downloads.
Browser Switch
All user devices have an intelligent Browser Switch integrated into the client software. When a user clicks a link or enters a web address, the Browser Switch forwards all internal company network addresses as usual. However, any address on the public internet is automatically redirected to the isolation computer. This ensures that every access to the public internet is always securely routed through the isolation computer.
